How a memory game can help anxiety
Anxiety often floods working memory with "what if" loops. A light matching task asks that same capacity to hold symbols instead. You are not trying to argue with fear — you are giving attention a safer object for a few minutes.
No fail state on purpose
The mobile market is full of memory games that lock you out after a move limit. That pressure is the opposite of what an anxious nervous system needs. Calm Match shows how many moves you have used as information only. You can always keep going or restart when you want.
Tips for mid-wave play
If you feel rushed, pause between flips. Name the symbol out loud if privacy allows. After the board clears, notice whether your shoulders dropped even a little — that 1% counts. For crisis situations, leave the game and open crisis resources.
